BTP has been designed to help you go beyond what is taking place from a behavioural perspective in the here and now and to start to gain some understanding of the internal psychological catalysts to what you see in your working environment. We aim to help you to both understand what is being presented and how you might be able to work more effectively with it.

It has been developed over a period of 10 years by working directly in classrooms and schools with students expressing emotional and behavioural needs across both primary and secondary settings within the inner city.

Our programme has been designed to look at how to work with young people from a more psychological perspective, to enable you to try and understand the reasoning behind both individual and group behaviours and then how they impact on us as individuals and how this may impact on what presents within the classroom environment.
